esar Montano wants to start filming the project for his own movie company as soon as possible. He wants the cameras to start grinding this February and his choice for leading lady is Angel Locsin.
Initial talks have been made and there was no problem then. Even the talent fee of Angel has been settled and anytime the actress is ready to shoot, she can collect her checks.
Cesar is starring and directing the action-comedy and all that he asks is for Angel to reserve 10 shooting days for the project.
But with the rift between Angel and her manager, Becky Aguila, still unsettled, independent producers are at a loss as to whom they would they negotiate with regarding the actress' schedule. Do they go directly to GMA Artists Center and deal with Ida Henares? One even suggests to talk to Mother Lily Monteverde to clear off the schedules of Angel (as she has been doing mostly movies for Regal)? Sino bang talaga ang dapat kausapin?
On second thought, there must be other than Angel who can be paired of as the love interest of Cesar in his next movie. Is Angel the only bankable female star today? Hindi naman siguro, 'no?
So, what does Cesar do in the process of waiting? The actor spends most of his time in Bohol where he attends to the building of a resort with cottages he personally designed.
Cesar is forever building houses. When you visit his big farm in Pandi, Bulacan, two new houses have been added to the hectares of land planted with fruit bearing trees.
Someone close to Cesar observes: "Parang obssesion ng actor ang magkaroon ng maraming bahay dahil naranasan niya kung paano ang magpalipat-lipat ng tirahan noon. It makes him feel secure na he has his own house, at hindi lamang isa at wala siyang rent na iintindihin."
Cesar may not be active making movies but his visibility is seen through various commercials he appears in. The new product he is endorsing is Enervon. Prior to this, he did one for Globe and a herbal liminent product called Pau .
He is not closing the doors to appear on TV "basta't huwag lang drama."

In what appeared as an ambush interview with Ricky Ilacad, managing director of Warner Music, Philippines, he said that for 2006, the company is more focused on promoting local talents.
"We want them to be known not only here but on other parts of the world," says Ricky. "And the best place to start is Asia . A good example is Chritian Bautista whose records are selling well in Thailand and Indonesia . Kilalang kilala na siya roon. He is considered there as an international artist. His songs are loved because it is about love and you can never go wrong on that."
According to Ricky, bands are staging a comeback in the music scene and they have a few in their roster. Their music varies from the conventional to alternative. These include Dicta License from Ateneo, Stonefree, Join the Club, Barbie, Kitchie and The Dawn. A new discovery named Sitti also bears watching.
In the international line-up, the best-selling artists of Warners are the following: Josh Groban, Madonna, Linkin Park , Simple Plan, Michelle Branch, James Blunt and POD.
